Instead of asking the question “Do you like this food?” make the statement “You like this food,” followed by, “don’t you?” When you ask the question “Do you like this food?” the person has the think about whether or not they really do like the food or not. The person thereby takes their attention off of the words that you are saying and concentrates on the taste of the food. By giving them the answer that you want to hear first, and only asking for their rhetorical agreement, “You like this food, don’t you?” the person has to do very little thinking. This one hypnosis technique alone will have even some of your toughest critics agreeing with you.
